I've been wondering what the Google Plus+ social platform will be like. It looks like the use of circles will work out in a marketing web strategy. The idea of grouping into circles groups of people according to my interests seems beneficial in that conversations would stay focused on common interests. It did not take long before people I friended on Facebook started pushing their business opps and other interests all over my wall. It makes a nice menagerie of topics but is pretty scattered because of it all being on the wall at the same time. The thing I use Facebook for is the direct messaging that is great for carrying on a threaded conversation. I suppose starting and joining groups would keep things focused as well. I'll be testing the Google+ platform now and comment on my progress with it. If you would like to participate, let me know, there are a number of invites I can give.
